Hi, my name is Shelby Yardley. I am a senior at South Central High School. I am 17 years old and have a twin brother named Hunter. I have lived in Winterville NC all my life but travel a lot to visit my family and vacation. My favorite place to go is the beach. It is where I feel most relaxed. In school I am a good student and get great grades. My goal is straight A's in all my classes. I have met this goal so far but still have 1 year to go, I enjoy art very much. I might not be the best but I love it. I can show my creativity and express self. When I go to college I want to be able to work with children with disabilities. I love working with children and volunteering with children with special needs. I want to either be a children's psychiatrist or a PA in childrens psychiatry. I feel all children have every to right  be a part of society and become adults. If I can not do psychiatry I would love to teach autistic children, Those children truly touch my heart. I hope to be able to show these children they can express themselves through art as I do.
